Welcome To Altered Dogs Rescue
ADR is a small rescue located in Apple Valley, California on a 20 acre lot. All of the dogs live in the house instead of in kennels. The whole 20 acres is fenced in and the dogs can come in and out as they please. I take in dogs from the shelter and take care of them and show them until they are adopted or pass.
All dogs are $300 each. Unless there is a special sale going on or something. It doesn't matter the faults, genetics, age, etc.

Baby Blue's story is quite a sad one. She came from the shelter with no name and no care at all. She actually had hip dysplasia so I treated her for that and gave her her shots as well. She doesn't have the best coat pattern and has weight problems. She is at normal weight, at 124lbs. She is an attentive dog. She could still be a good show dog, you never know.

Meet Tinkerbell. She is an adult liver merled Australian Shepherd. She was found wandering just outside the shelter, so we took her in. She didn't have a name or any care and she had a puncture wound and had choked a few days back. She is medium in height and is very easy going but if you provoke her she will snap. She is a little on the heavy side at 64lbs but will make a good companion for almost anyone.

Meet the "young" and beautiful Dream. She's got a marvelous liver saddle colored coat with stunning golden eyes. She is pretty much friendly to everybody but has never taken a likeing to her handler, she is attentive. She is a normal sized Australian Shepherd at 40lbs. She has large ears which is a fault but she looks super cute with them.

Monty is definatly one of the prettiest dogs you will ever see, with a brown liver tri-colored coat. He is an attentive dog with no aggression problems that have been noticed or recorded. He is a regular sized Australian Shepherd at 45lbs. His only fault is his nose because it is to large, but if you ask me it makes him unique.

~Why A Rescue?~
Well, there are over 2,000 dogs in the shelter right now and alot are un-named. Therefore they are un-wanted so that's why I save them. Also, I have a pittie X rott mix that my dad found in a box as a pup on the side of the street. I have a passion for rescueing.
