Have you ever wondered how long your dog is going to live? How about when it will get sick again? Or maybe you wish you could sneak a peek at some of it's genetic information. Well now you can! Create or use one of the scientists at the reasearch lab and you can find the answer to all of these questions. It may just give you the extra little edge you need to breed the most superior dog yet!
Trainers In Progress
Many of you might have noticed the Special section on your dog's page that lists their abilities and tricks. We're still working on trainers and new training options which you will be able to use to put your non-breed standard dogs to good use -- in something else they might win ribbons in.
If you haven't noticed yet you will soon, our new item system went up Friday as promised. There has been one report of a problem with dogs not showing up on the list if they have a negative kennel amount. This has been fixed.
Having trouble with the new item system?
First you'll notice they have been divided by categories -- click the category link at the top of your inventory to change the category you're looking at.
In addition your items have been grouped so you don't see 5 of the same item on the page. Instead you'll see one item with a quantity of 5.
How do you use an item now?
To use an item put the number of times you want to use the item into the box beside the item you want to use. Next select a dog from the drop down list at the bottom of the list. If your dog doesn't appear in the list then you don't need to use this type of item on them right now. Finally, click the button and the item will be used on your dog.

Yes the item system is long due for a complete overhaul. That's exactly what we're doing this week to make taking care of your dogs both faster and easier to do. Here's a sneak peek at what's in store. We're hoping to have the new way of using items available on Friday.
